milk_meat
I have an old song I'm recreating. It was recorded without a click track so it's not on the grid. I created a midi track, inserted a klopfgeist and tapped along with the tempo of the song on my keyboard. Now I have a midi region that's perfectly in time with the old recording. My question is, now that I have this region how to I tell logic 9 to follow the tempo of my midi region so that it perfectly aligns with it? Thanks immensely for your help guys! milk_meat
Thanks for the quick reply David, you're awesome! I'm having an issue with the directions though. As I'm trying to align/drag the yellow markers to the corresponding midi note, most of the time it comes back with the error "Setting this beat would have caused the corresponding tempo value being too high. Try to delete bars." Any way around this?
David Nahmani
It sounds like you're trying to map the wrong beat to the wrong note. Did you map the very first note successfully or did the very first note yield that problem?

milk_meat
how weird, I started all over again and now it seems to be working....I'll keep you posted, once again thanks sooooo much for your quick replys!!!!
milk_meat
Ok now I realized what I was doing wrong. It's not enough for you to drag the yellow line to the corresponding midi note, you have to drag it to the beginning of the note, I was dragging it to the middle of the note sometimes thinking that it would automatically know.
