Logic Pro X records the old tracks

For some reason Logic Pro records my other tracks (even though I use headphones)... So if I want to record a new track it will include all the other tracks I made. How do I get rid of this?

• What audio interface?

That will be difficult to answer without more info about how you are trying to record. More detail and screen shots would help.
