StephenK Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 Hi: Having a continuous problem with the M-Audio projectmix I/O and Logic: 1- When I launched a project in the past and used the M-Audio keystation Pro 88, hitting certain keys on the keyboard would spin Logic into various windows - mixer would pop up, score, etc. With the new 1.8.2 firewire driver, this issue seems to be temporarily resolved. 2- Another problem is the faders don't come up when Logic is initialized. This is still a problem even with the new firewire upgrade. I have to go to preferences/control surface/setup, click on the control surface, which is listed as Mackie, and delete it. I then shut down Logic without saving changes and re-open the program. That seems to do the trick. After speaking with M-Audio tech-support they deny this is a problem with their software and say that it's a Mac issue. Of course, I don't buy this at all. They also recommend that I not use the firewire port in the front of my G5 and to pull out the firewire cable associated with the cinema display using the firewire port in the back of the G5. ganjeera Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 Bro!!!! iam wit u i have the same problem.I know its the maudio driver problem.but maudio will not accept there mistakes.Then how come other surfaces like digi003,the tascam and alesis work like butter in logic.The temporary solution is after starting logic if the faders dont come up click the rebuild defaults function.That should work......Cheers......God Bless...Warm Regards......
