Drum Quantizing and Drum Scripting ???!?!

I have been using logic 7 on an intel based macbook pro for about a year now and the only two problems that I have ran into this much is that I still have to go to fruity loops and create drum tracks there and then bounce them down in a WAV. format and then insert them as audio files when I write music. Now I know that there are certain ways to write "script" drums but is there a simple way to use samples such in the way that you can that is as simple as fruity loops and DRUM QUANTIZING What is the best method for this considering us logic users don't have "beat detetive" and so forth.
