tigermaster
As subject, is there a way to show the preview audio track on the mixer ? For preview audio track i mean the audio track that is used to audition apple loops for example, i usually put some plug-ins on that track in order to isten apple loops already effected while i'm browsing, in order to do this i have to go to the older mixer where i can see the audio track 256, that is the audio track used as preview track at least on my autoload. it looks that is hidden from both the mixer and the arrange and there is no way to let it show up on the new gui. Hecdog
Sure there is. Just go to the environment and reassign the Prelisten track to something like "Audio 24". Then you can add a track in the Arrange Window and reassign it to "Audio 24". It'll appear as the Prelisten track--it'll be labeled that way. It should show up in the mixer, but sometimes (a bug) you have to insert a plug in, and then it'll appear. Either way, you'll see the channel in the arrange window if you have the Inspector opened. By the way, you can assign it to Audio 255, and it'll still work. Only 256 is special.
Hecdog
Also, if you wish to keep the Prelisten track at "Audio 256" you can still have it show up in the arrange window and your mixer. It's a bit weird that you can do this, but do what I suggested above. Once it's done and working. Go back to the environment and reassign the track to "Audio 256". When you go back to your arrange window and mixer, you'll see the Prelisten track is still there, but it has now been reassigned to Audio 256. It'll work as normal. tigermaster
assigned to audio 255, added to arrange and mixer, reassigned to audio 256, made hidden in arrange (having on the arrange inspector is enough), saved as new template. Nice trick, i tought the prelisten was locked to audio 256 and not dynamic. thanks
