Issue after Updating to Logic X

Recommended Posts

I just updated my OS to 10.9.1 and then upgraded to Logic X from the App Store. The option for creating new tracks doesnt exist and if I try to create more than just the one track I get an error message which reads: "The specified number of tracks could not be created. Reduce the number of tracks to create, then try again." How do I get it so I can create as many tracks as I want? FYI: The "Core Audio" Box in Preference IS checked.

I think the issue is stemming from downloading OS 10.9.1. I can't open my preferences folder without it crashing-- and a couple of other bugs that others seem to also be having w Maverick. I think I just need to revert to a previous OS version and check all drivers after that.
