POD farm plugins disappear when not using UX2

Recommended Posts

Hi, I will try to explain this as good as possible.

I´m using a Line 6 UX2 audio interference that comes with the POD farm plugin. If I plug out my UX2 and want to use the POD farm plugin in Logic, a popup tells me that I don´t have a license for it, even though I do, there´s no problem if I keep the UX2 plugged in. This is really frustrating if I, for example, bring my computer to a friends house to mix some guitars I´ve already recorded and want to experiment with the different amps the POD farm provides.

English isn´t my first language so if you have any trouble understanding what my problem is, please let me know.

So the first thing you need to determine is wether what you call a "problem" is the expected behavior or not (many manufacturers require hardware to be connected as part of their copy protection scheme).

Okay, thank you, I´m kind of new at all of this so I´m not fully confident about how everything works. I will try to contact Line 6.
