Logic pro doesn't recognize my waves plugins

Recommended Posts

I know there are already many posts about this topic, but usual answers aren't working for me.

After I restored time machine, Logic is not seeing my waves plugins.

They don't appear in AU Manager, I've already try to rescan and nothing...

I have no problem opening those plugins with pro tools.

I'm not running it in 64 bit, 32 as usual, and I haven't updated or upgraded system.

I've already run the waves AU reg utility just in case, and nothing.

Help is greatly welcomed!

Welcome to Logic Pro Help.

Click this link to your signature and add your system information:

• Logic version and sub-version (e.g. Logic 10.0.5)

• OS X version and sub-version (e.g. OS 10.9.1)

• Computer (e.g. MacBook, Mac Pro, iMac)

• Processor (e.g. 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo)

• Memory (e.g. 2GB)

• Audio interface manufacturer and model (e.g. Presonus AudioBox USB)

• MIDI Controller manufacturer and model (e.g. M-Audio Axiom Pro 49)

(most of that information can be found by choosing Logic Pro X > About Logic Pro X, and  > About This Mac)

Also, you don't say what version of Waves you're using?

Have you already tried quitting Logic and deleting the Audio Units cache to force it to rescan all Audio Units?
