List of Favorite Instruments?

Hey there,

I'm wondering if it's possible to create a list (or lists) of your favorite software instruments so that you don't have to navigate through the library every time you want one of them. I'm using Logic Pro 9.

Thank you!

Best,

Theo

I did this. I had a template with all my favorite instruments redy. My advice to you is don't do it. It eats up a lot of CPU. You can shut of the instrument tracks, but that kind of defeat the purpose of having everything easility available.

Before switching to Logic I used Studio One. It included drag-and-drop possiblities, it was very convinient for adding instruments fast and easy. However, as instruments and sounds were easiliy availble I was less inclined to add instruments and sound with care and thought.

Today I appreciate the fact that it is a "hassle" to add new instruments to a projects, but the process has been to my advantage with respect to the quality of my music. Does that make sense?

Just to be clear, I'm talking about saving channel strip settings to then access them via Logic's Library. This has nothing to do with project templates and it definitely does not "eat up" any CPU.
