bnote
I have just converted a bunch of my AKAI samples into ESX24 instruments. While the conversion allows you categorize the instruments by creating a folder, ALL the raw samples from all my converted disks got dumped to an AKAI sample folder which is to say there's no way to know which sample goes with what instrument. Here's the question: I'm thinking about deleting some of the instruments to free up space. Is the ESX24 smart enough to release or delete the underlying samples if I delete the instrument?? Does this make sense to anybody....I regards.... bryan

So no, you need to do it manually and it is indeed tough to know what belongs to what. EXSManager Pro will search for orphaned samples for you after you have deleted the instruments and either delete them or move them to another folder. But I would back up your samples first just in case. www.redmatica.com
