Logic X midi is not behaving

updated to Mavericks and Logic X latest versions.

I use some MOTU midi interfaces 8x8 and midi over lan together in my template.

Everything used to work fine before Mavericks and Logic X.

My problem now is if I adjust anything in Logic while it is playing back, Logic sputters and glitches. It will even do it if I am adjusting the velocity of a region on the arrange page that isn't even playing back. BUT, it only does it on larger sequences, not if I pull up a few tracks.

Logic also seems to overload midi wise during a big orchestral arrangement.

Logic also will intermittently not merge a new midi recording into an existing region. Then it will work fine if I try again. The parameters for this in Logic X are odd IMO. There is no option for the old Logic 9 behavior, which was automatically merge with any region that exists in the area you are recording in. There is only merge with selected, which is very annoying.

I am using Apogee Symphony 64 card with 2 Rosetta interfaces, with MOTU midi and MOL all latest drivers

Any ideas??

Hi Nick!

Set the drag mode to Overlap instead of the LPX default No-Overlap.
