Logic Pro 9 High Pitch Noise when enabling the Audio

Recommended Posts

I have a Macbook pro early 2011, 2.3 ghz, 8gb ram, Mac OSX 10.6.8.

Home studio setup:

Rode NT1A mic, mbox 2, 1 rokit 5 monitor, and midi keyboard Yamaha PSR 275.

I have my midi keyboard connected to my my mbox 2, and already went through the process making sure the macbook recognizes it through the audio midi setup. However when i open up a new session in Logic pro 9 and I select external Midi. I click channel 1 for it. Then i create a seperate audio track to the keyboard in logic and when i go to enable the audio it gives my this crazy high pitch noise.

Not sure what to do .. checked all my connections which are correct. The mic is not the same side as the monitor. mic mac book and external harddrive are in between them. I'm confused, and not sure how to fix this .. please HELP.
