Pitch changing when I import an aiff

Hello there -

I am having a very frustrating problem that I am sure is simple to fix. My project is to edit some audio (clean it up with plugins) for a movie. I, dont have the actual video of the movie, but the finished dialogue track was sent to me as an aiff. When I drop it into a Logic track, the length seems to be right (same amount of minutes long i think) but the pitch is totally off! It is lower in pitch than the audio actually is so everyone's voices is super low. Other programs, like Peak, correctly play the right pitch, but I need a multitracker like logic. Any ideas what is going on? THanks so much for any help. I last used Logic in version 5 a few years ago and dont remember this problem.

Make sure you've set the correct sample rate in Audio > Sample Rate
