TonyMcGuinness
I've just upgraded my Mac to an Intel MacBook Pro (fab!) but have noticed some weird stuff happening with Logic. Sometimes (not always) when you select the scissor tool to cut an audio region the guide line doesn't appear at all, so you need to look at the numbers to know where its going to cut. You get the cross cursor but no line.... Is this a bug anyone else has seen?

shivermetimbers
I am on 7.2.3 and I don't get a guideline. I usually type in the number for an accurate cut. However, you should be able to hold the mouse button to get the cross hair and a popup should appear showing you the measure. As long as you hold down the mouse button, you can move left or right to the exact position, then release. My SPL changes to a dotted line.
