I've searched the forum and cannot find an answer to this..

I have duplicate loops where I have previously loaded them 1 folder at a time and I want to get rid of them but cannot figure out how..

Thanks for the reply..

I moved them out of where I was storing them and reindexed:

reindex.jpg

and a few still showed up in the list...

when I right click the browse I get this:

right_click_search.jpg

I'd like to completely remove all history of loops and reload the ones I want in there.. when I moved my loops folder back to the original location it listed all of the previous loops.. I'm at a loss here..

Have you moved all your Apple loops out of the user folder?

~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops

If you have done that you may need to delete an old Index file here:

~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index

You may also want to look in your main Library for an index file:

/Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index

You should not have to do that.

Could you provide screenshots of the contents of these folders:

~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops

~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index

/Library/Audio/Apple Loops

/Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index

I don't have the loop folders in the user folder, only the root

when I right click the browse I get this:

Make sure you right-click the result area of the loop browser:

Thanks.. that helped.. i moved the folder that I keep the loops in and reindexed and now I have this

current.png

It's weird that it's not deleting everything..

The Library folder is there under your user too but it is hidden.

In the finder hold down Option and click on the Go menu. You will now be able to navigate to the user Library.

Find the remaining loops and move them out of there then reindex.

YES!!! This fixed it! Thank you so much!!
