What's The Best Way To Move My EXS And Apple Loop Library

Hello to all,

I want to move my exs and apple loop library off my system drive to my audio drive to free up space. What's the best way to do it so Logic can find them when I open my songs?

Thanks,

EXS inst. - Keep the instruments on the default location and move their samples anywhere you like.

Apple Loops - You can move them anywhere you like. At anytime you can drag Loops into the Loop Browser and reindex them.

When doing this you'll be asked to choose to move the Loops to the default location or leave them in the place you just dragged them of.

Dan,

Thanks for your help. Can Ultrabeat samples be moved as well?

adavis, sorry, but I'll have to pass that one.

I'm using Logic Express for two years and just upgrade to Pro last week.

Well... almost. I'll only receive the big black box at the end of may.

So, I don't have Ultrabeat yet.

I'm almost there.

:D

But I can imagine it's the same thing as EXS samples.

Leave the presets on the default location and move the samples.

Someone here will help you soon for sure.
