Access Virus TI keyboard routing problem

I have been going nuts these past few months trying to figure out to route individual audio out of the TI control. I am running logic 7 and all I want to do is to be able to apply my own 3rd party dsp effect plugins on each of the 16 individual channels in the TI control. I have downloaded the logic 7 tutorial and have been banging my head agaisnt the wall trying to figure out how I can send more than just 1 midi channel to an aux where 3rd party dsp effects can be applied. I tried recreating the tutorial set up in a blank logic project in an attempt to understand how a midi track can have non-virus TI based effects applied to it but have been unable to get a grasp. The tutorial guide explains that the "Dub Pad" is sent to USB 2 instead of USB 1 which magically sends it to AUX 3+4. I don't even know how they created a VIRUS TI object in the environment. Or an AUX 3+4 Object. I don't understand where USB 1 or USB 2 is routed... I am worried if you can only output either usb1 or usb2 that you can really only apply effects to two individual sound sources. Where is USB 3 and USB 4? USB 16? How can you apply 3rd party effects to all the channels? All I want to do is to be able to individually manipulate the audio from all 16 of the midi channels with my 3rd party DSP plugins and effects. Can someone please explain how this is done or refer me to a guide that explains it. The tutorial guide leaves too much to the imagination. I haven't been able to really use my TI since buying it 2-3 months ago because I haven't figured out a way to individual manipulate the sound coming out of channels. I would have prefered it if they had designed the TI so that I could have 16 instantiations of the TI control, that way at least I could apply my logic effect plugins. Please can someone help me out here. I've been very frustrated.

Unfortunately, what you are asking is impossible. The Virus TI only has 2 ( stereo ) usb outputs, 6 balanced outputs and a digital out. You can only put inserts on those channels individually. What most people do is bounce the tracks to their own audio tracks for individual eq and insert effects.

 

Setting up aux channels for the virus is quite easy. Just go into your global mixer and navigate to the aux channels. Find an open aux and set the input to the instrument that has the TI plugin. Make sure that you use the multi-channel version of the TI plugin. You will see the inputs "Virus TI 3" and "Virus TI 4" if you are in mono ( which i suggest, you can always recreate the stereo field after you bounce it ). Hopefully I havent confused you too much.
