Can't extend sample lengths anymore

Recommended Posts

Now before, I could dump my various samples into the EXS and edit them with the sample editor, extending the length or altering start and end points. But NOW, for some reason, no matter what I do, the sample won't play longer if I extend the blue region. I even tried to extend by doing the same thing in S.Loop but nothing.

Basically, I can't edit samples at this point and I'm not sure why not. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Beatz!

Are you using Logic 9.0 in Mavericks or is this a typo?

How is the file you are referencing to named?

Yes, 9.0 in Mavericks...its running 64 bit

HMM, i didn't think about the file name. Maybe I've been leaving them too long. BUT, I don't think that's the issue because I would of known as soon as I dropped the sample in the EXS.

9.0 in 64-bit mode makes no sense.

Update to 9.1.8 for starters.

Did you make the samples yourself or are they a part of a commercial library?

It's the latest version of Logic 9.... I prefer it over Logic X

Made the samples myself, chopped from a random jazz record
