quantum leap RA rewire problems

so im trying to run quantum leap RA as a rewire through logic pro, unsuccessfully.

 

here are the steps i take (i launch logic first)

 

1) add rewire object in environment

2) launch RA

3) get no sound

 

when i play my triton extreme, which acts as my controller, the keys in RA respond as if it's getting midi signals, however no sound is produced. that is the case whether i'm in logic or running RA standalone. however, if i play the keys in the RA interface with the mouse, i get sound. regardless, no matter what i do, none of that sound plays in logic....

 

any help would be GREATLY appreciated...im on an intel iMAC, using a digi002, triton extreme, and mackie control

You have run it as a plug-in or use the IAC bus to send MIDI out of Logic to RA stand alone. The Kompakt player does not support ReWire.
