mksprior
I have an audio file on track 16 in my arrange window. However, when I use the virtual fader (either at the side of the screen or in the mixer window) to reduce it by any amount, Logic 'forgets' this once it passes the loop point that I've set and returns to the beginning of the song. Basically it's not letting me adjust the volume of that particular track... How can this be so? Matt
Jope
Maybe you set a node in your track volume automation somewhere at your song's start. You can remove it by clicking on it, the yellow automation line will dim a little bit then, if I remember correctly.
mksprior
No I've checked there's no volume automation on the whole track...
fader8
Check to be sure the track isn't sharing the same audio object as some other track that does have volume automation. This drove me batty one day. It's a fairly easy mistake to make.
mksprior
I can't see any volume automation nodes on any of the track in my arrange window. The yellow automation line is flat across the board. How can I tell Logic to 'forget' any hidden automation I may not be able to see...?
David Nahmani
In the Arrange, try View > Hyperdraw > Autodefine, and make sure you don't have any region based volume automation.
Jope
Did you click on the dot where the line is starting? Sorry for asking again...
mksprior
Thank you David you've solved! Geez I don't even remember adding that hyperdraw node... Maybe I got up and did it in my sleep!
