Recording Audio in a loop Q

Recommended Posts

I'm recording voc in a loop, and it's spitting it out in copy tracks nicely. But as soon as they appear they grey out. It's like they are muted (which I'm sure they are, as to not cause all the loops to play at once)

I just can't seem to find how I un mute them to dig through the rubbish to get the good tracks. I can audition them no problem in the audio edit screen, just can't play in the arranger.

click on the section you want to audition so it's top bar goes black then press m. This should be your default mute key command. You should now hear the loop when you press play

If it doesn't work go to your key commands find the mute key command and change it to a key that works for you - I find M good because I'm dumb and it's easy to remember.

M=Mute....see what they did there..........Hope that helps

I bloody well knew it would be something rediculously simple!! goes to figure sometime it's better not to over think things, even if it is Logic ;) Cheers!

or, you can unmute all the tracks, then press s (solo), and click on each track to solo on the fly.
