sonic character of Wavearts plugs vs logics eq and comp.

i don't really mean this to be a "vs" question. I just couln't think of a better headline. i just got Logic Pro and i'm looking to expand on the sonic character of the included plugins. (which i think are really good, btw.)

 

so... my question is, would the wavearts plugs such as trackplug5 and finalplug5 be redundent sonically to logic? or would it give me alternate colors to work with?

 

ps- i really like the look of the waves ssl4000 plug, but i'm not desparate enough to play their silly games yet.

 

i noticed that sojme of you use the wavearts stuff and thought i would just ask.
