Echo Audiofire 4? Help!

Hey guys i foolishly bought myself a M-Audio Fast track Pro and am currentyl having massive issues with it.

 

instead of fixing them i been told to just get rid of it haha! so i have been doing my research and ive come across a great deal on the Echo Audiofire 4!

 

it has the inputs i need and is quite cheap BUT i would still rather not get it if im going to be experiencing issues like i currently am SO

 

i was wondering if there is anyone out there that can give me some feedback on this device how it performs, is there many problems with it etc etc

also is there a big difference between firewire 400 and 800 in reference to this and is the audiofire 4 capable of firewire 800?

one more thing the other device im looking at is the Presonus Firebox? hows it go into relation to the audiofire 4
