Acesulfame
Hey, I use logic pro 5.5 for PC and i just got a new pc and installed it. However, whenever i click record (and play guitar through an effects box put through the line-in port of my pc) it records all the other tracks i am playing along to aswell as the guitar im trying to record. Basically it records everything that would be played out of the speakers when i hit play into the recording file. Can anyone help me with this so that logic only records my input and not the output too?! thanks -andy
David Nahmani
Are you using a microphone? Sounds like there's a microphone plugged in that captures the audio out of your speakers. What happens if you use a headphone?
Acesulfame
theres definately no microphone plugged in. Its really odd and ive never come across it to do this before... it doesnt make a difference if i wear headphones because the sound file i create when i record is still the same. David Nahmani
I'm not sure what the problem is... try to record your guitar by plugging it right into the built-in interface input to determine if it's a pod problem?
Acesulfame
The thing is, at my friend's house it works fine with the same set-up. I think maybe my sound settings are setup wrong in the control panel of the pc... Ive been fiddling around with it all day but cant seem to find something that will work but ill keep on it. cheers for the help anyways.
