gno
I'd like to automate turning on and off the low cut on the equalizer. I was able to select this parameter from the list to create an automation curve ( which is a straight line ). I can click on the line and it creates a node with the word "on". Normal automation curves let you drag nodes up and down but this one doesn't let me drag a node down for example to create an "off" state. It lets me add nodes, but each node is on. How do I manipulate an on/off type parameter with automation?
Atlas007
Have you tried directly from within the EQ plugin?
skltr2182
when you create another node, just pull it down. that's off.
gno
when you create another node, just pull it down. that's off. Thanks - that's what I thought - but that's why I posted because it doesn't let me drag a node down. I'm not sure what version you are on? Maybe it's a bug in my version of logic which is the latest. And I'm on the latest version of Yosemite.
David Nahmani
Set the track to Latch, press play and click the On/Off button where desired.
skltr2182
i don't know why it wouldn't let you drag a node down..... that's odd behavior. we pretty much have the same machine.
gno
Ok - I see where I went wrong. I'm trying to drag the node down slowly and it doesn't move. But if I drag it all the way down to the bottom and it moves to off. I was just expecting the node to move right with the mouse while dragging, but it doesn't show moving until my mouse hits the bottom of the track. Operator error. David Nahmani
Another way is to double-click where you want to enter a control point.
