fretnoise
I just opened a tune that I probably started 5 years ago and haven't touched in 4. But the metronome won't work. I've opened a newer tune on which I know the metronome does work and checked all the settings in both the metronome settings and the settings in klopfeist and they all match up between the two songs. Midi settings are also correct. But still the dang thing won't work. I'm on Logic 9.1.8 Any ideas?
Jordi Torres
Check to see if you have a MIDI Click object in the Environment. It's normally in the Click and Ports layer. If you don't have it you can create a new one by going into the Environment's New menu > MIDI Metronome Click. J.
fretnoise
Thanks for your reply. The midi click object is there in the environment.
Jordi Torres
Is your Klopfgeist channel strip object assigned to "inst 256" in the environment? J.
fretnoise
No it's assigned to inst. 128. And I don't have a mixer layer in my environment. I'm thinking this song was probably started in Logic 6 so some things have changed since then. When I look at the mixer page it only has 128 instruments available. What now? Jordi Torres
Can you zip up the project file and attach it to this thread so I can take a look? Feel free to save a stripped-down copy of the project and upload that, if you prefer. J.
fretnoise
I just went and copied everything into a new file, the metronome wasn't the only problem. Everything is working fine now. Maybe this'll motivate me to finish my tunes quicker! Thanks for your help.
