Hello! First, sorry about my english, I'm brazilian and I can't found a good brazilian forum with Logic stuff.. hope you can help me.

My specs:

OSX Yosemite (10.10)

Macbook Pro 2011

2,4 GHz Intel Core i5

4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Logic Pro 9 (9.1.8)

Yamaha P-95 digital piano

USB AudioCapture UA-25EX - Roland

Connections:

P-95 MIDI Out >>> UA-25EX MIDI In

UA-25EX USB >>> Macbook USB In

Headphones >>> Macbook phone In (My logic output: built-in output)

In the past week I've started a new project in Logic, connected my Yamaha P-95 with my UA-25EX and record a song with some MIDI..

But now, when I try to open that project I receive that message:

"Instrument “UA-25EX” sends to a MIDI port named “UA-25EX” of MIDI interface “UA-25EX” which no longer exists.

Please check if all MIDI interfaces are connected and switched on; otherwise adjust the instrument’s MIDI out port setting."

This problem came out of nowhere.. I havent changed any settings in Logic :(

Since this I can't record MIDI using my piano to control..

please, someone can help me??

thankyou!!

Have you checked to see if the UA-25EX's MIDI port is still available in Logic's Library (when having an external MIDI track selected)?

Does the UA-25EX continue to work for audio (can you select it as an input and output device in Logic's audio preferences)?

Ok, done.

Yes it is.. but I want to record MIDI using my piano to control a Software Instrument.. That's the way I've done the other time.

Yes.

Thx

OK, so the port is there and available for MIDI output...it should also be available for MIDI input (to play and record a software instrument).

What happens if you load a software instrument and play your keys? Can you give us a screen shot of your Click and Ports layer in the MIDI Environment? Like this:

In your screen shot, there's no cable between the Physical Input object and the "Input Notes" keyboard. You need to make that connection (from the SUM port). Look at my screen shot (or your previous screen shot) for reference.
