Problems with microkorg's midi

Hi,

 

I'm trying to set up my microkorg with logic pro 7. I'm having problems with the midi clock and the arpeggiator. I understand that the microkorg's midi clock should be set to external, but frequently the delays are out of time and the arpeggiator fails to work consistently.

 

Oh and what is the best way to use the MK. at the min im using it as an external instrument, but is there any other way that it could be more effective?

 

im using an m-audio firewire, G4 laptop, m audio midi controller.

Are you trying to have the MK's arpeggio follow Logic's clock? If that's the case set the clock to external on the MK, but also make sure Logic is sending MIDI Clock to the MK: File > Song Settings > Synchronization > MIDI
