trickknee
I have the opportunity to buy a Tascam DM24 at a great price. I have heard there are issues with it acting as a control surface for Logic properly though. Does anyone have any info or insight on this? Thanks,
EB
I use the DM3200 and have no issues with it.
bobco631
I use the DM-24 with Logic Express, saving up for the Pro. Express only gives me 12 I/O, and reduced plugs and all that reduction. I've had the DM-24 for years now, also use it with Logic Platinum 5.5.1 on pc, works great. Core audio sees it straight away through firewire, of couse you'll need the IF/FW firwire card for the DM-24, no way around that. Environments exist for Logic to control the faders on the DM-24, or Vice Versa, huge bang for the buck with the DM-24, under $1000 for 24 simultaneous I/O. cheers
