why not try and troubleshoot the problem with the folks at Stylus? don't give up

if you want to send the bass recording out to an amp, you need to convert the output's line level to an instrument level..also known as reamping. i recommend searching the forums as there are many products and opinions... keyword: reamp

check the samplerate in audio midi setup, make sure it's the same as you're using with the fireface? that's all i got..sorry

addictive drums works fine, apparently an update is coming soon to address the multi out problem as well! logic8 and leopard are running fine here on a macpro..clean install.

ok, so is it a matter of creating things in the proper order then? i had created mulitple mono tracks, then assigned them.. as i understand it... i should create the outputs, then the tracks? thanks for the help david

I'm trying to configure my autoload song here, but i've run into a snag. can someone help me figure out how to: my setup: apogee symphony, 16 analog io's... i want to send stems (drums on 1-2, Guitars 3-4, etc..) to a 16:2 summing box. stereo tracks are easy, but when it comes to trying to use output 11 for vocals, and 12 for bass... i can't seem to activate an option to use mono, rather than stereo outs. (this all refers to my ignorance in logic 8...everything is copacetic on the hardware side) anyone know this one?

so, someone on the apple discussions forum said that he was experiencing the same thing on his macpro with an ensemble as his interface.. He thought it might be an apogee driver thing (as logic would see the mcu pro when the ensemble was off)..i don't feel like pulling out my symphony card to check thoroughly, and I'm cool with the ad hoc thing for now, but i'd love to have the full functionallity of the mcu back

definitely, it was the first thing i looked at when i encountered the problem..sorry for the email. i didn't see the extremely bold red print in time...

wouldn't you know it, the weirdness continues. i quit logic to see if it would recall the control surfaces on a relaunch: it doesn't see them anymore....but they still work as controllers, they have no displays(the CS's) but the transport controls and jog wheels on the mcu pro, and tranzport still work in logic... funky no?

Good News! i downloaded and installed the driver for my Tranzport, and somehow, this caused logic to properly scan for control surfaces, all is working fine now. enjoy
