hey thanks so much! I wanted to contribute some of mine own but I'm not sure how to save the presets as .aupreset, how do I do this?
That would be great.
It's really easy. Simply open your plugin instrument, then go to its preset list and load the first one. Then, at the top of the instrument window, the new header for Logic's plugin windows, there's a drop down menu with a few options, being one of them the Save option. Select it and save it with the same name of your factory plugin preset (if that particular instrument has preset folders, here is where you create them also).
After this you should see it listed at the left of the arrange window, inside the browser, as Logic's own presets.
Then, it's just a matter of repeating the process for all the other presets. It may take some time for instruments with a lot of presets, but it sure pays off in the end.
Hope this works for you, and thank's for your cooperation.
OK thats what I was afraid of. That would take time for instruments with hundreds of presets. Will be a work in process for me. thanks
