get the same problem with any interface incl built in, i have a 003, not the duet now, need to update my thing lol it does this in every project yes. no plugs on the output, the only plugs open are exs24's and waves, i'v tried taking them all off, but doesnt make a difference :S what a nightmare! i just dont understand how it can all of a sudden not work like this

hi, my set-up has been absoloutely fine, until yesterday, nothing has changed at all. yet, when i play projects as soon as it gets to certain parts of the song (usually a few bars in) the sound stops sending to the main outputs oh, and theres a big glitchy sound just as this happens which nearly blows my monitors, all the levels are still moving away on the mixer, but the main output goes blank, i'v tried all the usuall, restart, repair disk permissions, change buffer size, checked different plug-ins wern't causing it, and tried different interfaces inclluding the internal mac one. so im all out of ideas, if anyone could help with this, i would be soo grateful, i have a really big track to produce over this weekend so im mega stressed ha cheers c.

thanks, thats brilliant, all working now. it turns out i'd done something a bit silly and put my sample library in the privacy bit, so that finder wouldnt start indexing while im using them, just to keep things quick....wont do that again. don't suppose you know why it would be fine for ages and then suddenly didnt know where they were do you ? just for future knowledge..

for some reason, half of my instruments cannot be found in exs24, it doesnt properly search for them, i have been through the options>preferences>look on all volumes procedure, since my samples are on an external drive, but with no joy. it seems to have happened only since updating to 9.1.1 ? any help would be much appreciated cheers C.

i'm having major trouble with audio in logic, pretty much everytime i record and make a comp folder, there are big issues such as: when i swipe the parts of the take i want and then click the arrow to go put it all back into its folder, it will play the parts i've selected for a while and then without warning, start playing the first take i recorded, however the waveform in the region matches the takes i've selected, i have to go back into the comp folder and reselect everything. I have found that this get worse if the takes that you record are at different lengths, or if you cut a part of the folder. This is happening way too frequently and doesn't make for easy vocal production! another problem i've been having is that even though the regions and waveforms appear perfectly in time with the grid all of a sudden things will start to sound out of time, usually late, without me making any tempo changes or edits to regions, it even happens when i just have the mixer window open. i had the same problem on my imac before, i have tried re-installing, many times, i now have logic on a completely clean mac pro, with nothing on it but logic! i'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with this, if it can be helped ? can you turn the comp thing off ? if so how ? if i could have logic working without all these bugs it would be dangerous !!! cheers charlie.
