  1. Sorry Camillo JR I meant I just did my first quantize. I have not removed any flex markers. So if I remove them where the rolls are I should get a better result?
  2. Ok, done it It's really screwed the rolls up though.
  3. So do i start over by dragging the wav out of finder into the project or can you press a button that instructs the project to ignore the flex changes I made?
  4. thanks...and finally, it won't matter if i use the kick take that i have already dragged in time manually? it will be able to ignore my changes and align as it chooses?
  5. thanks and would it be wiser to reference the room mic as opposed to the kick mic, do you think?
  6. I've got 11 drum tracks and the drums need a bit of help in terms of timing. I have tried moving just the kick drum track to learn that it messes up the other tracks a bit. Is there a way of turning flex on all 11 tracks, linking them, then dragging the kick and have the other 10 tracks move with it?
  7. Epic failure trying both these techniques. Assuming technique 2 does not rely on technique 1, can you explain where the click channel is? Not there in my mixer. And when I find it, will it be armed with an 'r'? I failed on technique 1 because there was no r button in the click channel.
  8. Is there a way to do this? I am transporting the ghost tracks to an engineer using cubase and don''t want to waste time setting up clicks or lining wavs to his clicks in his DAW
  9. If you see this screengrab, I am not seemingly choosing mono or stereo for my bounced file, I seem to be choosing a bit rate for both. Why would it ask me for a mono bit rate and a stereo bit rate for the one bounced file, which I hope to be stereo?
  10. A publisher has asked me to supply 2 version of MP3 songs, one at 128kbps and one at 320kbps. When I go to bounce I am faced with choices of bit rates in both stereo and mono. Should both mono and stereo have the same bit rate,? Cheers, Rich
  11. Ever since installing Logic 9 I have had "system overload, cannot continue issues" during playback. I read that it was a Logic bug, I read that I needed more RAM. So I bought some and it did not help. One guy told me to save my projects on an external hard drive instead of in the Mac. So I am thinking of doing this. When I consider the samples and pugins I have since bought and the space they aIl now use on the hard drive I wonder if I should move them all to external hard drive too. Is this a better approach generally? Get everything except Logic off the Mac?
  12. Thanks, Eric. I did a toolbar bounce in offline mode previously and it didn't work. Ticking realtime instead of offline sorted it. Good news. Is this a common occurrence? Any ideas why it works like this?
