Incidentally, the "Electronic" template in Logic has a very comprehensive arp -- it even has a floating interface for easily changing the arp's parameters quickly. Not sure if it's as comprehensive or flexible as you need, but it could be a good place to start. It's a bit intimidating to look at it in the Environment, but a good learning tool -- I've learned a lot from it. Hope this helps.
