Hey thanks the help guys let me give sum more info - i actually dont use a seperate midi controller because the keyboard version of the synth has a rlly nice veolicty sensitive keyboard (im assuming u meant keyboard controller) and it has midi out/in ports, however i have a usb cable connected directly to my laptop which communicates midi data. I can get it to record midi data in one track and play audio in the audio track but when i record the audio file immediatly gets erased as soon as i stop recording. Also what i was hoping for is a way to then edit that midi data and feed it back into the synth to hear the difference. Lastly the interface does have gain but it is only used for live performance output not when it is usb connected to my laptop (the s4 is primarily a dj controller/mixer but has a great quality audio interface) so i think there should be something in logic that adjusts the volume of the live audio if there is a way to make it higher that would be perfect and i could just record the synth live with multiple takes and then comp the takes so the midi issue wouldnt be as important

Hey im pretty new to this but im having sum issues with my blofeld: Im using a macbook pro with logic pro 9, traktor s4 control as an audio interface (sterio), and ofcourse waldorf blofeld synthesizer (keyboard version) The main issue is that i cant figure out how to record audio and midi together in a way that when i edit the midi data it corresponds with the audio. Im sure ther is a way to do this by outputting the midi to an input channel on the synth but im not sure how exactly. Also another issue is that when i record arm an audio track, even with the synth at max volume it doesnt sound as loud as it should.. im sure it should be able to sound louder (when i play it the bar on the left with volume levels only goes up a tiny bit, and reads around -14 to -10) im hoping there is a way to adjust something in logic so the synth sounds louder
