Solution Eric Cardenas Posted October 10, 2013 Solution Share Posted October 10, 2013 Hi metamonas. I added "Clear" remote parameter to the keyboard in the arpeggiator. it's A-1 now. Added the A-1 note to the end of your arpeggiated region so that it clears all notes from the Arpeggiator plug-in latch memory. stopped.logicx.zip

I really appreciate it!! it is actually my first day using arpeggiator. getting to know things! thanks again I was gonna make an automation or convert it to an audio region to stop it. Using remote parameter looks way better solution.
Eric Cardenas
You're welcome met! The remote parameters are very useful. Specially when using the arpeggiator live.

Can you help me do it or point me to a article or preferably video showing how to us clear remote parameter . I tried but couldnt find one. That would be mighty helpful because i am really stuck here. Regards Shivam
Eric Cardenas
Here's a small video of how to set it up for A-1. The only thing you need to do after this is to add an A-1 where you want the arpeggio to stop.
ftyl
Hello Eric, I have the same problem and I have already read your great solution but I use my MacBook keyboard so I can not add a remote key A1:( Do you know any other solution, it really makes me crazy and I can't solve it. Thanks in advance
David Nahmani
I have the same problem and I have already read your great solution but I use my MacBook keyboard so I can not add a remote key A1: You don't need a MIDI keyboard. You can just create the note in the Piano Roll with the Pencil tool.
ftyl
Hello David thank you very much for your reply but I still did not get it..Should I press a button and which one when I finished the recording?
David Nahmani
Hello David thank you very much for your reply but I still did not get it..Should I press a button and which one when I finished the recording? Ok I'm not sure I understand the situation exactly: what are you doing, recording the arpeggio live? Using a MIDI keyboard?
ftyl
Or you mean for each region we shluld add A1 note in the beginning?Right? Sorry I am new in this program. I am recorsing with appregiator and plus latch and when I completed the region/play it still plays/keep going
David Nahmani
Yes well either you play an A -1 note (A minus 1) on your MIDI keyboard before you stop the recording, or you add that note at the end of the region (where you want the arp to stop) manually, with the Pencil tool in the Piano Roll, after you're done recording. ftyl
I just added but it still keeps going and never stops mate:( Below I also added my print screens, Am I doing sth wrong?
David Nahmani
Are you using the file Eric shared in this thread?
David Nahmani
Hold on.. your "Clear" is on A#-1 but the note in the Piano Roll is on A#1. Move your note to A#-1 (that's two octaves down from the current A#1 position).
ftyl
Sorry David I am taking your time and yes I am using Eric's file and I moved to tone to A1 as you see below ut it still keeps going..
David Nahmani
Drag your note two octaves down to A -1.
ftyl
But two octaves down seems G-1 David? and it still keeps playing even I put two octaves down..
ftyl
I think I solved David, I put it two notes under C0 Thank you very much
David Nahmani
I think I solved David, I put it two notes under C0Thank you very much Yes indeed, two octaves down from A#1 is A#-1 which is two half-steps down from C0. You're welcome!
