Juliet
Hi I find that if I leave my computer for a while, with a Logic song open, when i return, i have to log right out of Logic and log in again in order to begin working with Logic again. (It will play the song, but I can't but I can't work on it at all). Is there any way of allowing my computer to 'sleep' without it basically disabling Logic in this way? Also, I can't find a way in the Preferences listing to choose to open automatically with the last song I was working on/had open. Can I choose this option elsewhere? I have Logic pro 6 running on a Mac G4 750. Cheers Juliet
David Nahmani
Hi Juliet, and welcome to our forums! I would recommend avoiding the "sleep" mode totally, unless you're on a portable computer and work on battery, in which case I would recommend quitting Logic before allowing the computer to sleep. In Logic Pro > Preferences... > Global > Song Handling there is a preference to "Automatically open most recent song on startup."
pantomimeHorse
Yeah, Juliet. Go to your Energy Saver prference pane and set all those sliders to "never". Best bet.
