Jay Denson
Is there a way in Piano Roll to move midi notes to another note on the keyboard map without dragging them? Say I have a hi-hat pattern and I want to change to different one. Dragging them has the risk of shifting them in time (easy to avoid if you are doing dance music and events fall into bars) but not easy if the events are "in the cracks". I want to be able to select all (control-A) and tell them where to go without dragging them, to avoid moving them horizontally. I hope the question is clear - if not, please let me know. TIA, Jay

Yes. Select a note or notes, then use the up or down arrows on your computer keyboard while holding down the Option (alt) key. J.
