Logic Novice
I use the latest Logic Pro X and each time I plug in my M-Audio Axiom 61, the controller assignment window pops up and takes over all windows, I can’t even open safari when this is happening. What do I do

What do I do That seems overkill.. how do you try to open Safari, and what happens when you try to open Safari? Have you tried trashing your control surface preferences? Is your Axiom in a control surface mode that could be turned off?
Logic Novice
I’ll try that right away
Logic Novice
I don’t really know, how do I trash it?
David Nahmani
First, quit Logic. Then in the Finder, hold down the Option key while you click the Go menu and choose Go > Library. Inside the Library folder open the Preference folder and find com.apple.logic.pro.cs (cs for control surfaces) and trash it.

BWilliams53
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I was going crazy with the control assignment pop up window every time I moved a fader on my keyboard controller. I followed your instructions and I think all the hair that I pulled out is growing back again. Thanks again!!!
