My external hard drive goes into hibernation mode while I am not recording or playing back. If I hit Record or Play Logic freezes because the hard drive has to start up. The only way out is to restart Logic. The external hard drive (Lacie Quadra) has Auto and On mode. I use On but it still hibernates. Ugh!
