Preview Stereo REX files, Prelisten channel is mono?

Hi, I was previewing some REX loops in logic browser and i realize that the audio is always in mono, and so I open the mixer, choose all and on the pre-listen channel strip I changed it to stereo, but as soon as I start to preview another rex file on browser, it changed to mono again, and I dragged the file to arrange and check, and yes, it's a stereo file.

Any way to fix the pre-listen channel to stay in stereo??

Seems like a bug to me. Although the same thing happens in Logic 8.

Nobody. Not even Jordito.

Haven't used REX files since last century but I'll find some today just to test this.... can hardly believe that this bug has gone unreported since Logic 8...?
