jkuehlin
Using Logic 8 on Mac Pro 12 core... I am trying to change a real snare to a fake one. I recorded a live snare on an isolated track with an SM57. Here's what I did: -Double clicked analog (real) snare track to open in sample editor -Factory -> Audio to score -Set threshold accordingly -Moved new MIDI region to BFD track Here's the problem: The MIDI notes derived from the transients of the snare come in at all different velocities. I understand you can change midi note values in 'lists' one at a time...what I would like logic to do is to take every midi midi note on the track and make it the same midi velocity. Can this be done?
jdoo
In the "Lists" - select all the notes you want the same velocity -- Hold Shift and Option and drag the value of one of the notes. They will all change together.

They will all change together. You could do the same thing in the Piano Roll (with the velocity tool). Or you could use the region parameters: set "Dynamics" to fixed. jdoo
Thanks David. I hadn't tried it with the Velocity Tool... that will come in handy! Cheers
Eriksimon
Or you could use the region parameters: set "Dynamics" to fixed. The advantage of this method is that it's non-destructive, too!
