Falconex
Hello everyone So, i put Reaktor Spiral as AU MIdi Controlled Effect, next set the sidechain source as track1 (with wave sample) and... nothing Any help ?
Jordi Torres
You won't be able to use that ensemble when running Reaktor as a plug-in in Logic (Logic doesn't support MIDI output from plug-ins, unless the plug-ins use their own virtual MIDI port which appears in Logic's physical input object). What you need to do is run Reaktor in standalone mode and sync it to Logic via MIDI clock. The MIDI data generated by Spiral will reach Logic via Reaktor's Virtual MIDI output port (which is only available in standalone mode) or via an IAC bus, if you prefer. By the way, Spiral takes no audio input. It generate MIDI and that's about it. J.

Jordi Torres
And now, five years later, Spiral can pass MIDI directly to software instrument thanks to Reaktor now being available as an AU MIDI Effect. J.
