womble
Lagerfeldt has mentioned logic Pro not being the best tool for burning a cd......and he's not a huge fan of Waveburner.....can anyone suggest the best software with the most professional SRC to go from 24/48 to 16/44 for cd? What would be the best sounding alternative to logics pow3 dithering? I'm guessing I would export my stereo file from logic (no dithering & no normalize) to the best software for the job...then convert and burn from there? Any help would be appreciated, thankyou
Holger Lagerfeldt
http://www.audiofile-engineering.com/waveeditor/ You get the Izotope SRC and the MegaBit+ dither, both top of the pops. You can burn CDs and make DDPs. Yes, you could export in 24 bits / original project sample rate from Logic Pro and do the rest in Wave Editor. If you sample rate convert after limiting be wary of inter-sample peaks that may cause subsequent clipping.
