David Nahmani
Could someone please help me out and try to reproduce this pretty crazy bug in Logic Pro X 10.0.6? 1) Choose File > New, create 1 audio track and make sure your metronome is on. 2) Open the Loops Browser and search for "Intergalactic". 3) Drag Intergalactic Beat to bar 1 in the workspace, below the audio track. An alert pops up saying - "The added audio file contains tempo information. Do you want to import it into this project?" - click Import. Your project tempo is now 53. 4) Drag Intergalactic Rising Synth to bar 1 in the workspace below the two other tracks. 5) Record 2 or 3 bars of audio at bar 1 onto the first track (recording silence is ok for this test). 6) Loop all 3 regions in the workspace. 7) Open the global tracks. On the tempo track header, click "Tempo", choose Tempo Sets > New Sets, and give the new tempo set a name. The project tempo is now 120. 8) Press play and listen. → The loops only play every other time and slowly drift out of sync with the grid !!??? → The metronome still plays at 53bpm !!??? → When stopping playback, the metronome continue playing a couple of beats while fading out !!??? Eric Cardenas
Confirmed! Tempo sets seem to be broken badly on a "New Template" Tried the Multi-track template as a starting point and everything is working fine. There is a post of a similar issue here: Problem with Tempo Alternatives
David Nahmani
Thanks a lot Eric! It's great to know that it's working in the other templates. I'll try them out.
