Mercury1650507370 Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 This is my version of Live Wire by AC/DC. I played all the instruments including vocals. I engineered all of it on Logic Pro X. What makes this a cool recording to me from an engineering standpoint is that there were no effects used. I got this using EQ, and compression only. Mercury1650507370 Posted February 12, 2015 Author Share Posted February 12, 2015 Thanks red. The set up was just my guitar going in direct, and using Logic's British Marshall at about 50% distortion. No effects and direct is the way AC/DC do it, so I did the same. I used a guide track to approximate the tone, but on a sided by side comparison they are not really that close.
