Drsmoketto
Hi guys, came across this weird bug today. After dropping samples into the 'edit' window within EXS24 and clicking 'View' > 'Zone:Sample then changing the 'Fade' value of each sample to 1 (to avoid the popping sounds). Once I attempt to press a key on the midi keyboard after saving and closing, it instantly causes Logic X to crash. After several restarts and attempting in a fresh project, I'm getting the same bug. Can anyone else confirm this?
Eric Cardenas
Try updating to 10.2 and see if it's better now.
Drsmoketto
Ok, I just updated and there does't appear to be an 'edit' button in the new EXS24? or am i being blind?
Eric Cardenas
Make sure you enable all the advanced tools in Preferences > Advanced.
Drsmoketto
Yup me fault! Ok so it doesn't crash now, but if I give any of the selected audio files a fade above 0 it won't play the sample at all... very strange. So only seems to play without any fade... Eric Cardenas
I can't confirm this behavior on my systems.
Terminarch
Same problem here. After I set the fade value to 1 the samples no longer make sound... very irritating. Now my jaunt sounds like someone popping some jiffy popcorn in the background.
