canadave
Hi, Apologies in advance if this is too newbie a question--I couldn't find it in a search. I'm new to Logic Pro X and love the Pedalboard. I want to keep that as an effect in my software instrument track, and change the instruments to see how they sound when run through my Pedalboard setup. But every time I change instruments, they of course load their preset plugins. Is there any way to set up Logic Pro X so that I can keep the plugin loaded on the channel strip (other than having it be in the master plugin rack) while experimenting with different base instruments? Eric Cardenas
Yes. You can use the Patch merging function for this, but it will only retain your audio FX and not load any audio FX from the selected patch. A better way would be to route the output of your channel strip to a bus and then insert your pedal on that bus. That will give complete freedom. canadave
Sending the output to an aux bus was a simple and elegant solution that I should've realized myself. Works perfectly. Thanks!!
