explojoseph
Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to disable sustain just for one armed track. The reason being: piano + strings in real time. It would be nice to be able to sustain the piano, without the strings ringing out. It's kind of a problem. This seems like an obvious feature to me, so I really hope there's a way to do this. (I'm using Logic Pro X, btw) Thanks in advance!
David Nahmani
I would first attempt at dealing with it in the software instrument plug-in that plays the strings: try to change the patch so it doesn't react to sustain messages? Solution tonwurm Posted September 16, 2016 Solution Share Posted September 16, 2016 insert a modifier midi-fx in the instrument channel-strip (in that channel that should not react to sustain-pedal). input-event: 64 - sustain, re-assign to: 64 - sustain, set "scale" to 0, leave "add" at
