EXS24 Issue

Hi, I've created a new EXS24 Sampler Instrument from a short audio region I created from a long horns part but every time I play one of the notes on my MIDI keyboard (or the EXS24 virtual keyboard) I get the following error message:

 

"The first region is used in the Tracks area. Can't change the region borders"

 

Please explain/help!

What do you mean by "EXS24 virtual keyboard"?

Hmmm that's weird, since you can play it on your keyboard.

Can you post a screenshot of the Editor?

Also, have you tried opening a new project, getting a new audio file and doing the same thing to see if you get the same message?

Apologies, I actually can play the notes on the EXS24 keyboard. However, I can only play one note before the error message "The first region is used in the Tracks area. Can't change the region borders" appears

Have you tried a new project and a new audio file? Maybe that project is corrupted, maybe the EXS24 instrument, maybe the audio file... try something new and see if there's a problem there as well
